Casa Eva Artisan Spirits is a collection of liqueurs inspired by the island of Mallorca and the Mediterranean. We use citrus from the Sóller Valley and herbs from Pla and Tramuntana to create truly authentic drinks, full of unique flavor.

It happened naturally. When you dedicate yourself to distilling juniper to make gin, and you are a curious person… one thing leads to another. That’s why, besides distilling juniper, we started distilling other things: cocoa beans, hazelnuts, all kinds of citrus fruits, anise, fennel, olives, carob, wild herbs, and spices, among others. And of course, it had to happen: some of the spirits we created were remarkable, some curious, and others will never see the light of day.

With the ones we liked the best, we decided to create in 2017, the Artisan Spirits. A small collection of uniquely crafted spirits and liqueurs. In 2024, we made a re-edition of the bottles and hope the collection continues to grow. These are special drinks in special bottles, perhaps not suitable for everyone. They are the result of our passion for distilling, trying new things, and sharing them with you.

    Orange Liqueur
Glops de Sol 0.5l 36% Vol.
KEY BOTAINCALS: Canoneta oranges, Navel oranges, and Bitter oranges from the Sóller valley.
NOSE: Intense orange aromas with sweet and fresh notes.
PALATE: Smooth and balanced, with a deep citrus flavor and a touch of sweetness.
FINISH: Long and persistent, with a pleasant sweetness that highlights the natural orange flavors.

For our orange liqueur, we only distill oranges from the Sóller valley, mainly the Canoneta, Navel, and Bitter orange varieties. All the fruits are soaked in alcohol for three weeks and then gently distilled in our copper still. After being diluted with water and sweetened with 150 g/l of sugar, the spirit is bottled unfiltered to preserve all the citrus aromas.

Our orange liqueur is perfect for classic cocktails like the Margarita or the Sidecar. It is also ideal to enjoy neat or on the rocks. It works great in a Sangria.

This liqueur is unfiltered and made with 100% natural ingredients. Turbidity and sedimentation may occur, serving as evidence of its artisanal production process. Due to its high content of essential oils, traces may float on the surface.

    MANDARIN LIQUEUR
    0.5l 36% Vol.
    KEY BOTAINCALS: Mandarins from Sóller.
NOSE: Intense mandarin aromas, fresh and sweet.
PALATE: Smooth, balanced, spicy, and playful, with a deep citrus flavor and a touch of sweetness.
FINISH: Long and persistent, with a pleasant sweetness that highlights the natural flavors of the mandarin.

We macerate mandarins from Sóller for 4 weeks in alcohol before distilling them. Afterwards, we dilute the distillate with water, sweeten it with 150 g/l of sugar, and bottle it unfiltered. This preserves the essential oils in the liqueur, mandarin at its best.

Our mandarin liqueur is a versatile all-rounder. It tastes wonderful neat on ice, but it's also incredibly suitable for cocktails, such as smoky margaritas with mezcal.
Insider tip: My grandpa always dressed his fruit salad with a splash of liqueur. For this, our mandarin liqueur is perfect.

PALATE: Smooth and balanced, with a distinctive fennel flavor and a subtle sweetness.
FINISH: Long and persistent, not overpowering, highlighting the natural notes of fennel.

Compared to the almond blossom, the bloom of wild chrysanthemums in Mallorca is almost unknown. However, every year in early April, they transform vast fields into a sea of white and yellow flowers, offering an impressive natural spectacle.

But it’s not just wildflowers that bloom under the Mallorcan spring sun; there is also a very special plant of great importance to the island: Wild fennel, or Fonoll in Mallorcan. Its delicate anise aroma is floral and almost a bit buttery. We distilled an anise base and directly macerated a sprig of wild fennel in the bottle.

Try our liqueur simply on ice.

I admit, we were inspired by Campari when creating this liqueur. Its color truly resembles the iconic Italian amaro. The taste is pleasantly bitter, yet not as strong as Campari and not overly sweet.

The original Campari recipe remains a closely guarded secret, with no one knowing the exact ingredients in the liqueur. Perhaps this will change soon, as the new spirits regulation comes into effect later this year, requiring manufacturers like us to disclose all ingredients. We've never kept the ingredients of our Red Citrus Bitter a secret. The bottle has always listed the ingredients we use: various citrus distillates, primarily lemon, mandarin, and orange from Sóller, along with gentian root for refreshing bitterness. The color comes from the natural food dye carmine, derived from cochineal insects. Campari used this dye too, until nearly 20 years ago when they switched to artificial colorings.

No liqueur tastes better on warm summer nights than our Red Citrus Bitter. I have a full list of favorite cocktails that I prepare with it. I especially enjoy the RCB & Tonic, a beautiful long drink to savor slowly. Freshly squeezed orange juice with a hint of Red Citrus Bitter is fantastic, also known as a Garibaldi. A few dashes of Red Citrus Bitter add depth and a beautiful pink hue to a Gin & Tonic. And last but not least, it's an essential component of Negronis (and Porronis): the citrus notes just fit perfectly here.
