Having a vermut is more than just having a drink – it’s a little ritual. In Spain, “vermutear” means taking a break, enjoying a few bites to eat, sharing good company, and having relaxed conversations. You don’t even need to be drinking vermouth – the word itself has come to represent the whole aperitif moment. A time to pause, enjoy life, and forget about the daily grind.

Vermouth is made from wine, herbs, and botanicals like wormwood, rosemary, thyme, and citrus peels. The perfect balance of bitterness, fruity sweetness, and bright acidity is what makes it so special – refreshing, aromatic, and simply delicious. It’s typically served over ice in a short glass, garnished with a slice of orange and an olive – the perfect edible decoration!

Our Casa Eva Vermut captures the essence of Mallorca in every sip. It’s made with Mallorcan wine and local ingredients like carob, rosemary, thyme, pine, olives, and oranges. The typical bitterness of the wormwood and gentian root is beautifully balanced by sweet, fresh citrus notes.

Enjoy it simply over ice – and if you like, with a splash of soda for a lighter version. It’s also perfect in a classic Negroni, paired with our Red Citrus Bitter and Gin Eva.

Make sure to have something tasty on the table. My personal favorite? Canned mussels in escabeche with a bag of good salted potato chips. Not everyone’s into mussels? Stuffed olives are just as good. Or go for Spanish classics like Patatas Bravas, Pan con Tomate, or Gildas (olives, anchovies, and pickled peppers on a skewer).

However you do it – set the table, call your friends, and…

It’s Vormouth o´clock!
